About
Iām Olivia Pine, also known as Lillypine, an illustrator and concept artist based in Bristol, UK. I create narrative-led imagery that explores real and imagined worlds, often through science fiction, fantasy, and ecological themes.
I currently work as a storyboard and character artist on independent film projects, including Something I Want You to Know, which was shown at Sheffield DocFest 2026. I also work as a concept artist at Hadal Works. In my creative process, I use 3D tools such as Blender and Substance Painter to develop imagined worlds.
My background in storyboarding, game art, 3D modelling, and animation shapes my approach to visual storytelling. It allows me to create immersive settings and memorable characters with a strong sense of atmosphere and narrative purpose. I am especially interested in developing illustrated books that encourage curiosity, reflection, and a deeper emotional connection with the natural world.
Sustainability is an important part of my practice. I consider both the environmental stories I tell and the materials I use, choosing options such as bamboo paper and plastic-free acrylics wherever possible.
I am currently studying for an MA in Design Communication: Illustration at UWE Bristol. I graduated from Arts University Plymouth in 2024 with a first-class BA (Hons) in Animation and Games, after completing an Extended Diploma in Graphics, Illustration and Game Arts with Distinction in 2021.
